Over a year ago a group of would-be Home Inspectors considered how they might take advantage of this new opportunity.

We were that group and we very quickly realised that if we couldn’t offer a full Home Information Pack (HIP), to wrap around our inspection, then our local independent estate agents didn’t really want to know. Our choices were clear; join the panels and be recruited to national schemes, where we would lose our independence, or become a HIP provider.
